She became world-famous with her novel ‘Her name was Sarah’ – nine million sold copies! – a novel about a black page in French history during World War II. But in her daily life, Tatiana de Rosnay (1961) is much more cheerful than you might expect based on the book, as she told us during an interview for magazine Leven in Frankrijk and a few years later again for Psychologie Magazine. She brought us along to her favourite neighbourhood in Paris, the 14th arrondissement, and told us at length about her novel Unfinished story and the family history that formed its foundation. A beautiful meeting and, yes, also funny and simply very convivial.
